And with it I have been married another year (2 years on the 2nd of September) and turn another year older (29 today).
The weather is getting warmer, I am getting outside and I hope my blog will be full of photos as I get more inspired by the lovely spring light.
Here is a start:
I love this gorgeous family tree display. I might get it (or make something similar) and prop it on a cabinet in Will's 'play room' (ie corner of our loungeroom!).
It always sounds like more fun than it actually is!

ETA: the shot of the room is the "before' state. Half stripped wallpaper border and poorly painted 'artistic' sponged effect by the previous owners. Oh - and excuse the poorly stiched together photos - our floorboards don't actually bend like that!
Last week we took the opportunity to head to the beach with my brother and his fiance. It was the first beach trip for both Will and for Bella the crazy lab.
Will had great fun crawling around the beach, playing with the sand and pulling out grass.
Bella had fun chasing Roxy the hyper boxer, swimming in the sea and making friends with a stray dog (another boxer) we later discovered was also called Bella. (No wonder she was following me when I called to 'my' Bella!).
I had fun taking photos of course. It was a great chance to experiment with different lighting conditions. If only I had more willing models!

Mum tried out the ergo baby carrier and helped me alternately entertain Will/control Bella!
The camera club girls and myself checked out a fantastic local photo location on the weekend. We were so lucky with the weather - it rained up until I left home but was dry from the time I arrived at the location until we left.
Monsalvat consists of a series of unique and distinctive buildings in the European style set in over 12 acres of parkland.
We had great day - I was hampered by trying to carry Will and shoot one handed for some of the time, so unfortunately I have quite a number of out of focus shots. I'm keen to go back on a slightly less wet day (and without Will!). Will's not quite at the stage of being able to be sat down alone in a place filled with stone steps and terraces!
We just started giving Will a bath regularly. Hmm - that sounds like we didn't wash him before. We did - but he usually had a shower with one of us.
He had so much fun splashing around the bottom of the shower that we thought we should let him enjoy a bit more water in the bathtub.
